Simplicity, meet impact

We simplify the complex process of brand building and communication to create a powerful, single narrative that connects everything you do. From strategy and design to customer experience and employee behaviour. This is what our founders Adam, Jacob and Nanette set out to do in 2018.

To us, ‘simple’ doesn’t mean ‘easy’. It means no complex methodologies and no over-engineered processes. For you, it simply means using external experts to amplify your brand and tell one story, everywhere.

Decades of real-world insight shaped by practice

We’ve each spent more than a decade working in communications – across multiple industries, in-house and agency-side. Our experience means we’ve seen what works and what doesn’t. We know what it takes for creative work to land well and last longer.

We’re a small team. On purpose.

We’d rather be six people doing the right projects than 100 people taking on projects because we have to. This means we all do the work and who you meet is who you’ll work with. Nothing lost in translation. Hands-on experience. Closer relationships.

Partner & Managing Director

Jacob is co-founder and managing director at Simple Revolution. As well as running the company, he provides strategic input to Talk projects and one-to-one coaching.

With a background in large Danish corporate companies, his areas of expertise include; business communication, corporate communication, corporate branding and brand implementation.

Jacob also heads up the development of the mobile learning platforms that support the communications training delegates receive in virtual and face-to-face settings.

Nanette Hale

Nanette Hale

Partner & Creative Director

Nanette is Co-founder and Creative Director of Simple Revolution. Her expertise lies in corporate reporting, particularly annual and ESG reporting, where words must not only meet regulatory demands but also carry meaning, inspire confidence and create value.

From her experience in academia and running previous agencies, her team helps companies get more value out of their reporting. By introducing The New Reporting Playbook, she created a simpler more effective process and a clearer, more compelling narrative that stakeholders actually want to read and connect with.

Adam Kaveney

Adam’s one of our founding partners and leads our brand and communication strategy projects.

Over the last 15 years Adam’s specialised in working with B2B and professional services organisations, helping them clarify and articulate their propositions and brands.

He cut his teeth as a writer for the Virgin Group, before going ‘agency side’ and leading communication projects for O2, BT, RBS, Apple and PwC. In 2011, he joined PwC as Global Brand Leader for verbal identity, leading the development of brand propositions and messaging.

Sarah Farrell

Sarah Farrell

Operations Lead

Sarah’s the key to everything at Simple Revolution. She oversees our projects in London and Copenhagen and runs our operations.

She started her career in secretarial services at PwC, becoming a Partner Secretary, before moving on to project management roles in Global Knowledge Management.

She was part of the team that coordinated and rolled out Google’s G Suite to the global PwC network

Jens Steen Larsen

Jens Steen Larsen

Senior Consultant

Jens Steen Larsen is an experienced coach and communications advisor, and helps managers and specialists become better communicators.

Jens works primarily with international companies and organisations, delivering hands-on coaching and training in presentation techniques and rhetoric.

During his own career in management in large Danish listed companies. Jens has an educational background in engineering from Copenhagen and an MSc. in Management from London Business School.

Associate Creative Director

Bert’s our associate creative director and leads many of our Define projects.

Before Simple Revolution, Bert ran his own brand writing business, was Head of Words for the accountancy firm, Cooper Parry, and was part of the internal comms transformation team at Boots.

At Simple Revolution, he’s led value proposition projects for PwC in the UK and US, as well as defining brand strategies for several brands with Pentagram, one of our partner design agencies.

Tapestry is one of our global events partners. When we’re training specialists before they speak on stage, the Tapestry team are building the stages, rigging up audio-visual gear and more. So we don’t have to think about anything else other than the speakers.

Corporate Events Inc. is an audiovisual provider and we partner with them on global events. Together, we create virtual and in-person experiences. While we train the speakers, Corporate Events Inc. provide top-notch audiovisual equipment and support.

Everlearn is the digital learning company we partner with. We know that people learn more if they learn before, during and after the event. So, together, we develop digital learning platforms such as Rippl and C-styles that we use in our training.
